ABOUT SCHOOL

 VADDAVALLI SESHAIAH AND ADDAGADA BHADRAIAH
ZILLA PARISHAD HIGH SCHOOL
CHANDALURU, J.PANGULURU MANDAL,
PRAKASAM DISTRICT – 523214

The school was named after the donors of the school place Sri Vaddavalli Lakshmi Kanthaiah garu and Smt. Pentyala Ananthamma garu in memory of her parents Late Smt. and Sri Addagada Bhadraiah and Peramma garu, V.S.&A.B.ZILLAPARISHAD HIGH SCHOOL and is located in a peaceful and undisturbed area in around five acres of land, nearly one and half kilometers away from the village Chandaluru towards Kopperapadu.
The then upper primary school which was located in the village was upgraded with the coordination and cooperation of the villagers in 1981, mainly of the chief donors Sri Vaddavalli Lakshmi Kanthaiah and Smt Pentyala Anamthamma with their heartful donation for the children of not only Chandaluru but also for the nearest villages like Nujellapalli, Koppearapadu, T.Takkellapadu and Alavalapadu with no high school study  for which they have to go either Duddukuru of Inkollu mandal or Panguluru to true their educational dreams. From the day it was upgraded, the school was developing day by day in all aspects and reached top position in the mandal and it is not only the competent for the government schools but private schools also. Our school stood second in the SSC 2008-09 results with 565 marks out of 600 got by Bonthu Harika Chowdary and stood in first places for the  the last two academic years 2009-10 with 560 by Dullipalla Kavya and 555 by Bonthu Jahnavi in the year 2010-11. In 2013-14 Chukka Anupallavi got 10 GPA.In 2014-15 Nuthalapati Mahalakshmi and Vipparla Sudheer Babu stood at 1st with GPA 9.3. Again in 2015-16 we bagged mandal first by Marripudi Manasa with GPA 9.7.
INFRASTRUCTURE
The school constructed in L-Shape with 18 rooms in all, in which only 8 rooms are in good condition for conducting classes, but the old building on south side with 10 rooms is in bad condition with cracked floor and walls in diminish condition.  This year a new construction on extreme east of the school place for four rooms was started and now it is under construction and it changes our school shape to U-Shape which may appear good and some more protection from buffalos will come because our school has no compound wall around it, which was main drawback in our school infrastructure for which the Government is not giving any funds towards it, although our Political representatives were represented so many times by giving memorandums to MLA of our constitution and ZP Chairperson. Our school play ground looks like a pond when rains come because of low level when compared to the road on north side and the farms around it, it needs leveling work with red soft soil on which pupils have to play their games.
PLANTATION
So many times saplings were planted around the ground but with no compound wall and security only few saplings turn into trees. If anybody could supply the tree guards the saplings may grow well. This year our old student Sri Anji babu supplied so many saplings to develop the greenery in the school area and our Physical Director planted all those with our kids around the school ground and gave protection with some thorn plants. As our school was constructed too away from the village, with no protection, with no ground water and with no rains this year it is too difficult to save the saplings but our kids are trying to save them by bringing water from the nearest pond.
DRINIKING WATER FACILITY

A special pipe line was laid down to the school and water reached the sump located in the north east corner of school and a donor Sri Pentyala Radha Krishna Murthy garu donated for construction of a overhead tank and taps arrangement, this was worked till the last three years but the pipe line was damaged somewhere and our pupils suffered a lot for no drinking water. For the last three years our Sarpanch Smt P.Alivelumangamma supported a lot and supplied drinking water to the pupil through the tanker for which we are very much thankful to her. This year with the involvement of our Ex - Z.P.T.C. member Sri K.V.Subba Rao at Zilla Parishad, Ongole funds were raised for the repair of the pipe line work and it had been completed recently and our students feel very much happy and now they are ready to take care of saplings also.  With the aid from our state and central governments our school children also getting “MID DAY MEALS” for so many years, till now they were suffered with lack of water but now they are very much happy by getting water in to their glasses directly.
ACADEMIC VISION

Our school started with few teaching posts, now full-fledged with one Grade II headmaster, two mathematics teachers, three physical science teachers, two biological science teachers, one social studies teacher, two telugu teachers, one hindi teacher, two English teachers and one physical director and three non-teaching staff members. With all this pattern now our school became number one school in the mandal and our teaching staff with the support of our headmaster are striving to retain its place. With 303 students is fairly a big school, most of the students hail from poor family of down-trodden communities. Even though they are from poor and down-trodden our teachers are working for the future of children by making them work hard and attaining all-round development. Our students participated in various events like quiz, essay writings, elocutions conducted by different  managements and stood best. Last year our student Durga Prasanthi of Tenth class got third place in divisional level talent test conducted by Z.P.H,School, Budawada of J.Panguluru mandal. K.Rajanandini of class VIII got first place in SUDOKU puzzle conducted by Z.P.H.School, Pamidipadu of Korisapadu mandal. Our school is conducting study hours for tenth class students regularly from the beginning of the academic year from 8.45am in the morning and up to 6.00 pm in the evening. Special classes are also conducting for the students who are educationally backward, to improve their standards.
